Asterism #02, 2016
Two pairs of carved Yorkstone posts to mark the entrances to Edward Street Park, Sheffield. The subtle form of the entrance features is based on a pair of parentheses/brackets and the intricate pattern is made up of a repeated asterisk. Additional bronze asterisk studs have been installed throughout the park. These symbols give a nod to the old Stevenson Blake Type Foundry which once occupied the lower end of Edward Street Park.
